Introduction

This Platform Privacy Policy describes how MyCore Industries, LLC, doing business as Resi (“Resi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares personal information through the digital presence infrastructure we operate on behalf of multifamily property management companies, owners, and operators (each, a “Property Client”). Resi provides website hosting, digital marketing services, internet listing service syndication, analytics, attribution tracking, and related technology to Property Clients. When you visit a website powered by Resi, submit a leasing inquiry, schedule a tour, or otherwise interact with a Resi-powered property website, Resi processes your personal information as a data processor acting on behalf of the applicable Property Client. The Property Client is the data controller and determines the purposes and means of processing your personal information. This policy applies to personal information collected through Resi-powered property websites, associated integrations (including Google Business Profile, Google Ads, Meta, and internet listing services), and related digital marketing infrastructure. It does not apply to information collected through getresi.com, which is governed by our Website Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information through Resi-powered property websites and related integrations on behalf of our Property Clients:

Information You Provide

When you interact with a Resi-powered property website, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address through contact forms, tour scheduling requests, or other leasing inquiries. You may also provide information about your housing preferences, desired move-in date, number of occupants, or other details relevant to your rental search. Any feedback, questions, or correspondence you submit through the website is also collected.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit a Resi-powered property website, we automatically collect certain information using cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, and similar technologies. This includes device information (such as hardware model, operating system, browser type, and screen resolution), unique device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or Apple ID for Advertising), network information (such as IP address and approximate geographic location), and site usage data (such as pages viewed, time spent on pages, navigation paths, clicks, and referring websites or listing services).

We also collect URL parameters and attribution data, including campaign source, medium, and identifiers appended to the URL used to reach the website. This data is used to measure the effectiveness of the Property Client’s marketing and advertising campaigns, including paid search, search engine optimization, and internet listing service placements. Additionally, we may collect information about your interactions with emails sent on behalf of the Property Client, such as whether you opened an email and how long it was open.

How We Use Personal Information

Resi processes personal information on behalf of Property Clients for the following purposes:

Property Website Operations

We use personal information to operate, maintain, and improve Resi-powered property websites, to facilitate leasing inquiries and tour requests on behalf of the Property Client, to communicate with you regarding your inquiries, and to provide support and maintenance for the website.

Marketing, Analytics, and Attribution

We use personal information to measure and analyze website traffic, marketing attribution, and campaign performance on behalf of the Property Client. This includes tracking which marketing channels and campaigns drive leasing inquiries, understanding how prospective residents find and engage with property websites, and optimizing the Property Client’s digital marketing efforts.

Advertising

We work with advertising partners to display advertisements for the Property Client online. These advertisements may be targeted based on your use of the property website or your activity elsewhere online.

Compliance and Safety

We may use and disclose personal information as we believe necessary to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal process, protect rights and safety, enforce terms of service, and investigate fraudulent or harmful activity.

How We Share Personal Information

Resi may share personal information collected through Resi-powered property websites in the following circumstances:

Property Clients

Personal information collected through a property website is shared with the applicable Property Client, who is the data controller. The Property Client determines how your information is used for leasing, resident communications, and property operations.

Property Management Software

At the direction of the Property Client, Resi may transmit your inquiry or contact information to the Property Client’s designated property management system (such as AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, or similar platforms) so the Property Client can follow up on your request. Information processed within the Property Client’s property management software is governed by the Property Client’s and that provider’s respective privacy policies.

Internet Listing Services

At the direction of the Property Client, Resi may distribute property and unit listing information to third-party internet listing services (such as Apartments.com, Zillow, Zumper, Apartment List, and similar platforms). Listing data typically includes property-level information such as community name, address, unit availability, pricing, floor plans, photos, and amenity descriptions. Any personal information you submit directly to a third-party listing service is governed by that service’s privacy policy.

Advertising Platforms

We may share limited information (such as anonymized or hashed identifiers, device information, or conversion events) with advertising platforms (such as Google Ads and Meta) to measure the performance of the Property Client’s advertising campaigns, optimize ad delivery, and facilitate retargeting.

Service Providers

We engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and technical support. These providers are authorized to use personal information only as necessary to perform their functions.

Business Transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, dissolution, or sale of assets involving Resi, personal information may be transferred as a business asset. The acquiring entity will assume the rights and obligations described in this policy.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose personal information if required by law or in the good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, cooperate with law enforcement, protect rights and safety, or respond to court orders and subpoenas.

Your Choices

Marketing Communications

You may opt out of marketing communications from the Property Client by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the communication or by contacting the Property Client directly.

Cookies

Most browsers allow you to remove or reject cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the website.

Targeted Advertising

Some third parties that collect information through Resi-powered websites participate in the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance, which provide opt-out mechanisms for targeted advertising. Opting out does not eliminate advertising; it means the advertisements you see may not be tailored to your interests.

Do Not Track

Resi-powered property websites do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) or similar laws in other states. Because Resi acts as a data processor, requests to exercise state privacy rights (such as access, deletion, correction, or opt-out requests) should be directed to the applicable Property Client, who is the data controller. Resi will cooperate with Property Clients to fulfill verified consumer requests in accordance with applicable law. You may also contact Resi directly at [email protected] for assistance in routing your request.

Data Retention

Resi retains personal information on behalf of Property Clients for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, or unless the Property Client instructs otherwise.

Data Security

Resi maintains commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.

International Data Transfers

Resi’s servers are located in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that personal information will be transferred to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Platform Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
