Viking Lakes Residences

MV Ventures approached Resi to create another website to showcase their next development, Viking Lakes Residences. We were challenged to develop branding that stayed true to Viking Lakes’ signature style while also differentiating itself from 240 Park Avenue. In addition to developing a full website that could be expanded as future phases of the project are completed, Resi was also tasked with taking on digital ad campaigns that truly speak to the goal of Viking Lakes: life in fresh air.

Located in Eagan, MN, Viking Lakes is a 200+ acre mixed-use master development and best-in-class destination bringing a vibrant, diverse, and sustainable environment to tenants, residents, partners, and the community.

In its first phase, Viking Lakes Residences included 261 units made up of 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom floor plans. Viking Lakes Residences are located at the heart of the Viking Lakes campus, conveniently located at the intersection of I-494 and Dodd Road. Units provide stunning views of TCO Performance Center, TCO Stadium, and Omni Viking Lakes hotel. Miles of interconnected trails, various parks, and natural wetlands make Viking Lakes Residences an ideal place to call home.

Life In Fresh Air

Visual Identity

Viking Lakes Residences’ logo incorporates MV Ventures’ logo of the iconic longship, while typography is reminiscent of Norse runes. The color scheme remained in line with the company’s palette of purple, grays, and black used throughout the website and marketing materials.

Web Elements

The Viking Lakes Residences website features a custom floor plan viewer that makes it easy for potential residents to find their perfect home. The website’s UX was designed with the user’s journey in mind, from a custom loading animation and dynamic pop-up system to an all-encompassing visual property map that helps contextualize the Viking Lakes campus. Renters can easily see where their future home is located in relation to the campus’ ample amenities and conveniences.

Digital Ads

Digital ad graphics were designed to bring the brand experience to life, with ads that capture the essence of Viking Lakes Residences. These ads combine beautiful photography with engaging copy to highlight the many features and amenities that make Viking Lakes Residences a one-of-a-kind development.
