Responsibilities

Billing & Accounts Management: Oversee billing, accounts receivable (A/R), and accounts payable (A/P) to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Payroll & Compliance: Manage payroll operations, ensuring compliance with payment schedules, regulations, and tax obligations.

Financial Oversight: Maintain the general ledger, conduct account reconciliations, and ensure accurate financial records.

Cash Flow & Budgeting: Monitor and manage cash flow, support budget planning, track expenditures, and assist in budget adjustments as needed.

Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports to support leadership decision-making.

Client Ad Spend & Media Budget Management: Reconcile client-paid ad spend (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) against budgets to ensure accurate reporting and invoicing.

Financial Forecasting & Scenario Planning: Develop predictive financial models for revenue trends, cost implications, and marketing spend impacts.

Profitability & KPI Analysis: Analyze financial performance across client accounts, service lines (SEO, PPC, social, etc.), and property portfolios.

Commission & Bonus Calculations: Manage commission structures for sales and account managers based on marketing performance and client retention.

Contract & Vendor Compliance: Ensure vendor agreements align with budget expectations and contractual obligations.

Fraud & Risk Management: Monitor fraudulent ad spend risks, unauthorized transactions, and billing discrepancies.
Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in accounting, billing, or financial operations, preferably in real estate or multifamily industries.

Expertise: Proficiency in accounting software, financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger functions.

Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

Financial Acumen: Experience with cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy.
Bonus Qualifications

Experience with multifamily third-party payment processing (e.g., AvidXchange, Opsmerchant).

Knowledge of digital marketing financials, including ROI per campaign, CPL analysis, and performance-based revenue modeling.

Familiarity with insurance and compliance requirements.
